Who are we?
Established and operated by a disabled combat Veteran, Broken Warrior Ranch is dedicated to sharing the transformative benefits of equine therapy with Veterans across our state who face challenges such as PTSD and other mental or physical struggles. While equine therapy programs are widely recognized for their positive impact, Broken Warrior Ranch is unique in its exclusive focus on supporting our state’s Veterans.
All board members are disabled Veterans.

Who we serve:
We serve the approximately 290,000 Veterans in Oklahoma, with approximately 110,000 of those having some level of service connected disability.

Our Vision:
Equine therapy may be at the heart of what we do, but our vision goes far beyond that.
Currently, we host three-hour classes each week in our Friday sessions at the Tulsa Boys Home ranch. In the future, we hope to expand our offerings, providing more opportunities for participants to connect and heal. We would continue our Friday sessions at the TBH ranch, of course.
Our dream is to create an environment where veterans can visit for a day, a weekend, or even an entire week. Picture a welcoming space with bunkhouse and shared meals—an atmosphere of connection and support, or the solitude of walking by the pond if that is the preference.
Imagine spending the day riding horses, fishing, or honing your aim with archery. Evenings would bring cookouts, laughter, and the warmth of camaraderie around a glowing bonfire. This is the experience we envision at BWR.
Our mission is to create a sanctuary for all Oklahoma Disabled Veterans—a place to unwind, recharge, and build bonds with fellow veterans, regardless of branch or era of service. We are committed to continually improving and expanding the ways we can honor and serve those who have served us so selflessly.
